Lrytas.lt readers, who spent 2 months choosing the best interior of 2023, liked the work of interior designer Dovilė Švilpienė the most.
This year, the interior architecture competition “Mano erdvė 2023”, organised for the ninth time by the portal lrytas.lt in cooperation with the Lithuanian Architects’ Union, attracted a record number of participants – as many as 219 works by interior designers and architects.
They are all divided into five categories – house, apartment, office and public space, with a separate category for those studying interior architecture.
For almost a month, readers of the portal lrytas.lt could also vote for their favourite interior. Again, a record was set – over 25 thousand votes were received. The interior of the apartment in Vilnius, “Drops”, created by interior designer Dovilė Švilpienė, received the highest number of votes – 1849 hearts.
According to the interior designer, this apartment is designed for a mature couple who appreciate a slow pace of life and quality leisure time.
Working with these clients was very easy for the designer – educated, well-travelled people who clearly articulated their wishes and did not look to friends or neighbours for inspiration, but relied entirely on the vision created by the interior designer. The result was beyond expectations – the interiors are not ostentatiously luxurious, but every detail meets the highest standards of quality and aesthetics.
