Designed by designer Dovilė Švilpienė, this is an apartment for those who like the mid-century modern style.

Having become an integral part of the city’s history, you can only rely on the sense of style of the designer Dovilė Švilpienė, who is taking part in the National Interior Design Contest. When designing the Hanner apartments, the interior designer set herself the goal of creating a stylish, colourful and functional interior on a relatively budget-friendly budget. She believes that design is created through the details, and in this case, the idea was inspired by mid-century modern, also known as mid-century modern. It is a 1970s and 1980s style, expressed in the interior through geometric shapes and colours (mustard yellow, powder pink, fresh mint), but modernised and adapted to the modern man.

Not only the interior, but also the unique location, the view from the windows and the spacious terrace, which, according to the designer, is a living space that is tailored to the rhythm of the city and to the needs of a family that enjoys cultural life.

With her in mind, Dovilė Švilpienė has placed a beauty table in the bedroom, next to the mirror, which can be easily transformed into a work desk, and in the child’s room, she has combined furniture solutions with functionality and mobility (something a modern teenager would be thankful for). All of these solutions were inspired by the yellow colour in the kitchen area, which continues to radiate energy and liveliness in the interior of the apartment today, and all the other elements are arranged around it.
